Physician Accreditation

The University of New Mexico School of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

The UNM Office of Continuing Medical Education designates each HCVAdvocate webcourse for category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.   All other healthcare professionals completing continuing education credit for this activity will be issued a certificate of participation.  Each webcourse will individually indicate how many category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award will be granted.

Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Continuing education credit is available free of charge!
